Systems Engineer (Foundry Pod)

Architect the unbreakable engines that power our products. You will design sovereign, decentralized, and fault-tolerant systems, using the latest backend toolsets to guarantee absolute reliability under extreme pressure.

Remote-friendlySeniorDistributed systems, infrastructure, scale

Mission

  • Build uncompromisingly resilient systems that isolate failures and eliminate centralized chokepoints.
  • Implement "Zero-Cost Governance" via additive schema evolution and strict backward compatibility.
  • Accelerate our engineering velocity by building tools that other developers love to use.

What you will do

  • Design, deploy, and monitor highly concurrent backend services and data pipelines.
  • Model complex domains using modern database paradigms, ensuring data integrity and horizontal scale.
  • Integrate AI and LLMs directly into our backend workflows to create intelligent, autonomous product features.
  • Drive our DevOps culture, automating deployments and infrastructure provisioning to eliminate human error.
  • Relentlessly refactor and optimize, continuously improving system latency and resource consumption.

What you bring

  • An uncompromising ownership mentality regarding system uptime and data security.
  • Deep expertise in distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving: knowing when to use proven technology and when to invent a new paradigm.
  • Fluency in integrating and managing modern developer toolsets to maximize your pod's velocity.

Nice to have

  • Experience with systems-level languages (Rust, C++) or high-performance networking (QUIC, WebRTC).
  • Background in deploying and fine-tuning local LLMs or AI inference pipelines.
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, edge computing, or decentralized architectures.
